I am so glad I got this. I didn't want the hassle of having to worry about needing bags of ice and salt so when I found this it was exactly what I was looking for. It is simple it has a bowl inside it that you keep in your freezer until you are ready to make ice cream. I just keep it in there all the time. That's it! There are two small cons but I love it all the same, it is a little loud and if you don't have an extra freezer it will take up a bit of space. But the ice cream I have made has been wonderful. I just used the recipes that came with it and it is 100 times better than store bought. I can make homemade organic ice cream in 25 minutes. I am stocking my freezer. So far I have made the traditional vanilla and strawberry. It's so good. I highly recommend it to anyone. Super easy and super good!

Our old tried and true salt and ice - ice cream maker died after last 4th of July, which is when we always made homemade ice cream. It was too much of a mess to make it all the time. But not now - we have made ice cream and sorbet's several times since buying this wonderful Cuisinart Pure Indulgence Ice cream maker. And the ice cream has been perfect. Great consistency and really good flavor, just following the recipes in the book provided. Plus we have branched out making mint chocolate chip ice cream and key lime sorbet, just to name a few. We keep the bucket in the freezer all the time, so we never have to plan ahead to make homemade ice cream. So glad I bought this. My whole family loves it. So Easy to use, even my 14 year old made sorbet by herself.
